Carol Ann Hayes, 49, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 28, 2008. Carol was born on August 5, 1958. She worked on an accelerated curriculum and graduated one year early in 1975 from Sandia High School. Carol was a kind soul and well liked by everyone who knew her. She loved animals and had a special place in her heart for her two cats, Flamer and Spike. Carol was a beloved aunt, sister, and daughter. She is survived by her parents, Everett and Amelia Hayes; brothers, Robert Hayes and Jack Hayes; sister, Christine Duncan; and two nieces, Sarah and Jamie Duncan, all of Albuquerque. The family would like to express their gratitude to Rhonda Amador for being such a loving friend to Carol through the years. Cremation has taken place.
