Phyllis S. Day, of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 26, 2008. She is survived by her seven children, Cheryl (Terry) Huber, Michael (Sue) Day, Loyd (Kathy) Day, Phylis Stowe, Sam (Dawn) Day, Neil (Carla) Day and Elaine (Harold) Tibbetts; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Her family would like to thank all of those who have given them support through this difficult time, especially the entire staff of Princeton Place, where she has been a resident since March of 2007. Phyllis will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas L. Day (2006). Cremation has taken place and there will be a 2:00 p.m., Service held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the United Methodist Church in Peralta, NM. Private interment will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorials be made to an Alzheimer's Research or Support Group of their choice.
