Beryl C. (Rodriguez) Bryant, 95, passed away July 28, 2008, in Albuquerque. She was born Beryl Enla Carnes in Gulfport, MS, on November 28, 1912, the eldest of the nine children of Elton E. and Annie Grantham Carnes. She is survived by her children, Howard C. Bryant and Mona of Albuquerque, Austin E. Bryant and Mary Ann of Sutter Creek, CA, Jeffrey B. Bryant and Betsy of Saratoga, CA, and Stephen J. Rider of Pioneer, CA, sisters, India and her husband Robert Pyatt of Morro Bay, CA, Alexis and her husband Robert Danielson of Templeton, CA, and brother Charles Carnes and wife Betty of Rimrock, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Leslie H. Bryant, Jack Rider, and Felix Rodriguez. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. She was a member of the greatest generation and a much beloved person. Contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory are encouraged.
