Karen Jean Walker Wilder March 25 1937 - July 24, 2008 On a warm and cloudy summer morn, the Lord called and took her home. On the wings of her angels, Karen Jean Wilder graduated into eternal life July 24, 2008. She left us with memories of love, compassion, gentleness, joy, her beautiful laugh, and her great courage. She said "Let the work I've done speak for itself." Her death has left a heartache no one can heal, her love so strong, no one can steal. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald E. Wilder; her four children, Rhonda Papen and husband Terry, Mark Wilder and wife Katrina, Karri Wilder and son Chase, Jenny Bradford and husband Dallas; her five grandchildren, Joshua, Chelsea, Nichole Bradford and fiance Dale Lusk, Jarrod Papen and partner Mike, T. Justine Papen and wife Ginnie and their identical twin daughters, her great-grandchildren, her greatest dream come true, Graysen and Ashton. She also leaves a brother, Lance Walker; and the wind beneath her wings, her twin sister, Sandra Rockwell; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and her beautiful nieces and nephews, whom she so loved. A Sunset Service to celebrate her life will be held at Elena Gallegos Picnic Grounds at the "Double Shelter" site, on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. If you loved her, you may come.
