Albert Fishman, son of Isadore and Sarah Fishman, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at the age of 82. Albert was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Adele Fishman, brother, Jack Fisher and sister, Sylvia Shapiro. Albert is survived by his daughter, Laura Loss and husband, Gary Loss of Houston, TX; son, Andrew Fishman and wife, Katharine Cook Fishman of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Jeremy Loss and Jacob and Kalyssa Fishman; brother, Gilbert Fishman of Newburgh, NY; sister, Adelaide Grossman of Plainview, NY; and loving nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his generosity, strong spirit, and his loving and enduring commitment to his family. Graveside Services were held Friday, July 25, 2008, 12:00 p.m., at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. SE, with Rabbi Joseph Black officiating.
