Vickie Z. Griego, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 20, 2008. Mrs. Griego is survived by her sisters, Antonia Mora and husband, Andres, Lucy Gomez and husband Gilbert and Connie Gonzales and husband, Ben; her brothers, Johnny Elwell and wife, Maxine and Richard Elwell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, July 26, 2008, in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be Monday, July 28, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Escobosa Cemetery in Escobosa, NM. Pallbearers will be Benny Pohl, Narciso Pohl, Joe Martinez, Ernie Gonzales, Buddy Martinez, and Bobby Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Gomez and Frank E. Gonzales.
