Andrea Montoya was born October 17, 1915 in Socorro, NM. She died peacefully at her home in Albuquerque on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Andrea was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Montoya; and her daughter Esther, Sanchez. Andrea is survived by her sisters, Albita Aragon and Prescilla Aragon; her brother, Manuel Aragon; her children, Josie De Soto, Don Montoya and wife Guadalupe, Jean Benavidez, Marcella Chavez and Marcy Alvarez; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Visitation and Services will be held at St Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW. on Friday, July 25, 2008. The visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m., concluded with the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
