Ione E. Rich age, 89, peacefully passed away on July 20, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born to Floyd and Mattie Grunden in Cozad, NE. Ione is survived by her daughter, Karen Kelly; her husband, Patrick M. Kelly; and her son, Robert W. Rich of Rio Rico, AZ. She has four grandchildren, Kenneth A. Rich, Andrea L. Kelly Lutes, Sean P. Kelly, and Devin C. Kelly; and two great-granddaughters, Samantha D. Rich and Mattison P. Rich. She is also survived by her sister Lois Vang of Seattle, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a longtime resident of Moriarty, NM, until her husband's death when she moved into Albuquerque to be close to family. She was a longtime member of the Extension Club, Sheriff's Posse Women's Auxiliary, and Wives of Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was very active in her family and community and loved her dog. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elven Chuck Rich. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary Wyoming Blvd, Chapel.
