Patrick Abeyta Jr., 46, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008 at his home in Polvadera, NM, He was born February 27, 1962 in Albuquerque, NM to Patrick and Rosina (Jimenez) Abeyta. Patrick enjoyed the outdoors and as a young boy, loved to visit his grandparents ranch in Tesuque, NM. He is survived by his wife, Debra Torres Abeyta of their home in Polvadera; his children: Samuel and Stephanie Abeyta, both of Polvadera; his parents, Patrick and Rosina Abeyta of Albuquerque; sisters: Sylvia Abeyta and Julie Pollack, both of Albuquerque; and many other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 7:00 p.m., at the San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father Andy Pavlak as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Polvadera cemetery. Pallbearers are Ty Zimmerman, Mike Jacobs, Tommy Montoya, Jerry Montoya, Paul Savedra and Dean Otero. Honorary Pallbearers are Patrick Savedra, Glen Duggins and Carlos Valles.
