Florine Fay Sanchez, age 84, of Albuquerque, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 15, 2008. She was born January 18, 1924 in Portland, OR to Alton Alexander and Katherine McClellan. She married M. George Sanchez Jr. on August 25, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA. Mrs. Sanchez along with her husband were missionaries serving in Quito, Ecuador, with HCJB radio station. and San Jose, Costa Rica with the Navigators for over ten years. Returning from the mission field they resided in Colorado Springs, CO., until 1988, and retired to Albuquerque. She and her husband ministered in Calvary Chapel and Desert Spring Churches. She is survived by her husband, Rev. George Sanchez Jr. of Albuquerque; her children, Sandra Sanchez of Albuquerque, Tom Sanchez and his wife Brenda of Austin, TX. Steve Sanchez and his wife Nancy of Salem, OR; grandchildren Christopher and Anthony Guber, Sherine (Sanchez) and her husband Ricky Archambaud and Rebecca (Sanchez) and her husband Johann Jareno; great-granchildren, Andre Archambaud and Benjamin Jareno. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Bitter. Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday July 25, 2008, at The Hub of Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna NE, Albuquerque.
