Jose "Joe" Pickle, age 69, born in Nueva Casa's Grandes, Mexico and a resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008. Joe was most proud of his grandson, Mathew who he loves and helped raise from an early age, his nephews and nieces, his early involvement with sports especially bowling where he achieved many trophies and awards. He loved being a Raiders fan, going to the racetrack and being with his family especially on Sundays. Joe's strong, intimidating voice would fill a room, but also express his love and compassion. Many remember Joe Pickle as the Owner and Manager of the kitchen at Gino's Restaurant on Coors and Hanover from 1972 to 1992. The Pickle family would like to thank Phil "Felipe" Jackson for his friendship and support." He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Priscilla; mother, Angela; five daughters, Rita, Theresa, Connie, Yvonne and Michelle; two sons, Billy and David; sister and brother, Rosita and Arturo.
