Obituary for SULLIVAN

Charles L. Sullivan, Lt. Colonel, 90, died July 6, 2008. He was born in Orlando, FL, April 27, 1918 and was a resident of Rio Rancho since February, 2008. He was a career Air Force Pilot and served in multiple European and U.S. locations before his retirement in 1968. Some of his career positions included Instrument Flight Leader, Instrument Check Pilot Instructor, Squadron Commander in Instrument Group, Group Commander of three Squadrons in Instrument Group, Supply Officer to help establish the new Air Command and General Staff School, Chief of Supply, Logistics Advisor to the Philippine, Indian and Greek Air Forces, Advisor to MAGs in Europe, Middle East, Africa and S. America, and to the Security of Defense for Logistics. He retired as a Command Pilot with over 20,000 flying hours, then entered the field of real estate for the next 30 years. Lt. Colonel Sullivan is survived by his daughters, Gail Sullivan and Judith Sullivan. There will be a private ceremony and friends are encouraged to make donations to the National Heart Association, or the charity of their choice.
