Shirley McManus, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008. She is survived by her four children, Jack, Cathy, Carol, and Patrick; four grandchildren, Erin, Darby, Brittainy, and Patrick; three great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Paddy, and Aiden; and other relatives and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ray McManus in 2001; son, Jonathan McManus in 2003; two brothers; and one sister. She was born on July 31, 1926 in Thurber, TX and graduated from El Paso High School. Shirley was a life-long resident of El Paso, until moving to Albuquerque four years ago to be close to her daughters. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, Ft.
