Ruth L. Lindquist, age 95, resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away in Surprise, AZ, Thursday, June 12, 2008. Ruth was born in Geneva, IL, to Charles August and Anna Lindahl. Ruth was a charter member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, she volunteered at Presbyterian and Anna Kaseman hospital for many years. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 46 years Harry Lindquist; brothers Carl, Eric and Alvar (Ollie) Lindahl; and sister, Elsa Larson. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Larson and husband John and Susan Lovenberg and husband Bernt; grandchildren David Torres and wife Rima, Traci Welch and husband Eddie, Erik Stude, Barry Moss, Randy Moss, Lesley Saccotelli and husband Rick and Jeffrey Moss and wife Wendy; step-grandchildren Kevin Larson and Lotta Lovenberg. Also surviving 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, David Lindahl and wife Caroline; and numerous extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 211 Jefferson NE. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ruth's name to St. Timothy's Lutheran Church; Anna Kaseman Hospital volunteer fund; or Albuquerque Humane Society.
