Lin (Amelia) Fairchild, 64, of Corrales, NM, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2009, after battling lymphoma. A graduate of Verde Valley School of Sedona, AZ, and the School of Natural Therapeutics in Albuquerque, NM. Known for her love of horses and rescuing greyhounds, she was an active member of Crone's Council and an accomplished artist. She is survived by her life partner, Robert Yurgae; her son, Matthew Ferguson and his wife Jennifer of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Ashton and Lola; her brother, Patrick Fairchild; and many friends. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2009 at 10 a.m., at Lin's home, 209 Grace Lane.
