Obituary for SALAZAR

Adolph R. Salazar Sr., 69, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 1, 2008, at home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Salazar is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Sylvia; his children, Theresa Silva and Mike Jones, Adolph Salazar Jr. and wife, Mary, John Salazar and Clarissa Valdez, Cindy Quintana and husband, Curtis; his sister, Rosemary Rohlfs and husband, Bob; his brothers, Chano Salazar and wife, Marcella, Phillip Salazar and wife, Pat, Lionel Salazar; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; his father in law, Juan Gallegos; his daughter in law, Maxine Salazar; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Salazar was preceded in death by his sister, Katie Holguin; and his grandson, Jeremy Salazar. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Leo Leise, presider.
