MARY C. In Loving Memory March 20, 1911 - July 2, 1998 You've been gone ten years now, and I've missed you! I try not to dwell on the years I didn't have with you and cherish the many, many years God gave me to share with you, and that I did. I like to go back to the time you retired. You, dad, Bob and I began traveling several times a year to our favorite place and we did it for several years. We spent quality time together. You were so content, always thanking us for spending so much time with you. Thank God I did, for suddenly, you were hit hard by what is so properly referred to as the "long goodbye". It was a long four years with no hope of ever getting well. Years of watching you struggle and trying to cope, took a toll on me. Late in the evening of July 2, the Lord came to take you home. As hard as it was to let you go, I knew you were going to a better place. I'll always love you and you will never be forgotten. Your loving daughter, Angeline Sachs Velasquez
