Catherine "Katie" Treanor, 80, passed away June 13, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born July 25, 1927 in Oskaloosa, IA, to the late Elmer and Catherine Parcel. Her first 50 years were spent in Iowa before moving to the Albuquerque area. Katie loved helping people and most of her career was spent in the health care industry. She enjoyed travel, bird watching, reading, politics, and spending time with her many friends and family. She is survived by her brother John Parcell; her children, Cynthia Kerr, Terry Kerr and wife, Becky, Melinda Mesina and husband, Frank; eleven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. There was a Memorial Service on Monday, June 23, 2008, at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho.
