Emma Lois Partin was born to Lon and Lucy (Garner) Partin June 6, 1915, in Richland, NM. Preceding Emma in death were her parents; her husband of 61 years, James Partin; her sister, Eva Rebecca (Ree) Blaylock; her brothers, L.J., Eddie, David, and Troy. Emma is survived by her daughter, Laverne Sparks of Albuquerque; her son, Jerry Partin and wife, Susan, of Irvine, CA; three grandchildren, Mike Sparks, Natalie Partin, & Jerod Partin; seven great-grandchildren, Tera & husband, Adam, April & husband, Russell, Ivy, Elias, Jasmine, Latasha, Aubrey Lynn, her sister, Pearl Haws and husband Wesley of Tahatchi, NM; her brother, Dan Partin and wife, Ann of Los Alamos; two sisters-in-laws, Bobbie & Mary; four great-great grandchildren,and many nieces and nephews & friends. Emma taught school in Buena Park, CA for 17 years at Walter Knott Elementary School near Knotts Berry Farm. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held June 23, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd, 7834 Tennyson Street, N. E. and September 20, 2008.
