Margaret P. Dodson, 90, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born June 13, 1918, to Robert and Mary Newell in Lima, OH. Margaret was a resident of Albuquerque for almost 40 years. She is survived by two sons, Robert Dodson and wife Susan, of Anthem, AZ and Jerry Dodson and wife Glynda, of Thoreau, NM; daughter, Linda Dodson, of Castaic, CA; sister, Marilyn and husband Ernest Bates of Green Acres, FL; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter, of 62 years. Margaret was a longtime member of St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE, where a memorial service will be held in her honor on Monday, June 23, 2008, 10 a.m., with Rev. Clyde Stanfield, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to Presbyterian Anna Kaseman Hospices.
