Mary Lilly Barela, an amazing mother and grandmother went to heaven at the age of 82. She was born in Roswell, NM on November 6, 1925. She is preceded in death by her son, Bobby Joe Barela. Mary is survived by her children, Tony Barela, Tillie Tierney and husband Derek, and Michael Barela; sisters, Josephine Garcia and Katherine Jaramillo; granddaughters, Brandie, Constance, and Elishia Rose; great-grandchildren, Precious and Roman and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life is scheduled for June 11, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at Glorybound Ministries, 11913 Menaul Blvd. NE. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church. Derek Tierney will be officiating.
