Merle W. Henderson was born in Michigan on December 10, 1922, and died on May 8, 2008, in Albuquerque where he had been a resident since 1971. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen. Merle enjoyed fishing, gardening and the company of his friends and family. Survivors include his stepson, Thomas Prevender; grandchildren, Michael Prevender, Karen Barrett and Phillip Prevender; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and his canine buddy, Holly.
