Mary A. Markee 85, a resident of Albuquerque died Tuesday, May 6, 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Markee; and her daughter, Sonia; son, Charles Markee and his wife, Betty; and their sons, Mike and Rick; and her daughter, Patricia Markee. She is also survived by her brother, Mac Salas; and her sister, Evelia Griego, and her husband, David; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James S. (Jim) Markee; and her brothers, Ambrosio and Lorenzo Salas. Services will be held Friday, May 9, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE with interment following at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. The family wishes to thank the wonderful people of Vista Care Hospice for their loving care of their mother. Mary was a wonderful mother and wife and will be truly missed.
