Alice Van Sickle, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Thursday, May 1, 2008. She is survived by her son, Larry Van Sickle and wife Sharon of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Gena Van Sickle and Mona Moss of Palestine, TX; granddaughters, Monique, Monica, and Tamara; great-grandson, Austin; brother, Kenneth Foote of Battle Creek, MI; and an exceptional friend, Donna Arthur. She was preceded in death by her husband Burton Van Sickle in 1980. Alice, a giving and caring person who would go beyond the call of duty to help family and friends. She was a faithful member of Los Altos Church of the Nazarene and helped form a group of ladies called the "Forget Me Nots". Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at French Mortuary - Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary one hour prior to service.
