Obituary for PEITAVINO

Florence Donati, 88, a former resident of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marco and Assunta Donati, and her husband of 35 years, Peter Peitavino. She is survived by her daughters, Sue Lemons of Lakewood, Colorado, and Gina Lockwood of Boise, Idaho. She is remembered by her four grandchildren, Cara Gabrielse, Mike Lemons, Lindsey Lockwood, and Alex Lockwood and six beautiful great-grandchildren. Florence lived in Albuquerque for over 60 years. She worked for the Army Corp of Engineers on Conchas Dam, and later worked as the office manager for the Albuquerque Surgical Group. She spent the past 16 years in the Denver area tending her garden and being loved by her family, friends, and neighbors. To know her was to love her. A memorial service will be held in Lakewood, Colorado on May 1st. The family asks that you remember Florence by planting a geranium, her favorite flower, in your garden this Spring, or by giving to the Alzheimer's Association.
