Obituary for BULLARD

Norma E. "Judy" Bullard, 83, a resident of Albuquerque for 18 years, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edwin R. Bullard, Jr.; son, Edwin R. Bullard III and wife, Kathy of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Katie; brother, Herb Holford; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Judy was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. She was born in Peoria, IL on March 27, 1925 to Herbert and Cecile Holford. On a trip with a friend to Oregon, she met Ed Bullard and they were married in Albuquerque, NM in March of 1945. Judy and Ed moved to Midland, TX where Judy worked as an office manager in the oil industry for over 10 years. They lived in El Paso for almost 30 years before moving to Albuquerque in 1990. She was a very strong and determined person, always able to handle what came along. Judy had a passion for gardening and was a very giving person, continually wanting to help those in need. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientists in Albuquerque. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will take place at Carestone Assisted Living, 7101 Eubank NE, Monday, May 5, 2008, 1:30 p.m. Interment of Judy's cremated remains will take place at a later date in El Paso, TX.
