Ella Mae Woods went to be with Jesus on April 27, 2008. She was born on January 20, 1921, to Mattie Lean Wilber and Sammy Hubert in Pittsburg, Texas. She and her husband, Willie Lee Woods, moved to Albuquerque from Amarillo after WWII. She was a life-long member of the Church of God in Christ denomination. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie. She is survived by her children, Raymond Woods, Steven Woods, Diana Woods Garcia, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her companion, James Taylor; and the extended Toulouse Family. A Service in celebration of Ella Mae's life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Bethesda Community Church, 10801 Lomas Blvd. NE, Suite 110 with Pastor L. Roy Jamerson, Jr. officiating.
