Isabel Guillen--Went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 20, 2008. She was born November 4, 1919. She is survived by her sons, Vincent Guillen and Anna, Ron Guillen and Lynne, Gary Guillen and Amy, Eppie Guillen, John Guillen and Michael Ball; daughters, Marcia Furnas and Len, and Sharon Estrada and Sam; grandchildren, Gene Gutierrez and Annette Gallegos, Michelle Sotelo and husband Danny, Melanie Guillen, Vicente Guillen III, Charlie Guillen, Nicolette Estrada, Amanda Estrada, and Isabella Estrada; great-grandchildren, Adrian Gutierrez, Merissa Sotelo, Daniel Sotelo, Alexis Sotelo, Breanna Sotelo and Vicente Guillen IV; brothers, Antonio Martinez Jr. and sister-in-law, Fortunata and Raymond Martinez; sisters, Mercedes Martinez and Teresita Salazar and husband Ruben; sisters-in-law, Ramona Sanchez, and Sirila Guillen-Dilorenzo, Trini Guillen-Mastas and family, Onofrita Guillen-Cordova and family and Magdalena Boyd and family; and niece, Maxine Salazar and family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Vicente Guillen; parents Antoino and Manuelita Martinez; brothers, Elisaido Martinez and Juan Estevan Martinez; and sister-in-law, Stella; sister Odila Montoya and brother-in-law, Benny Montoya; sister, Maria Maes and brother-in-law, Manuel Maes; sister-in-law, Frances Martinez; brothers-in-law, Valentin Guillen, Salavtore Dilorenzo, Benny Mestas and Bernabe Cordova; friends, Patricia Valverde and Arthur Moya; various nephews and nieces. She is also survived by longtime friends, The Arthur Moya family, The Dave Hoffman family and Bertha Sahd DiLuca. She is also survived by her extended family at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, where she was a dedicated member of the "Blue Army" and "Altar Rosary Society". Rosary will be recited Thursday, April 24, 2008, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be held Friday, April 25, 2008, 9:00 a.m., at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Vincent Guillen Jr., Ron Guillen, Gary Guillen, Eppie Guillen, John Guillen, Sam Estrada and Gene Gutierrez. Honorary pallbearers will be Len Furnas, Mike Ball, Danny Sotelo and her many Godsons. Our special thanks to Terri and Ross Garcia for these past few months for your prayers and dedication in bringing the Holy Eucharist to our mother when she could no longer attend her beloved church.
