Delia Concepcion Savedra, born November 27, 1971, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Albuquerque after a heart attack due to a lengthy illness. Delia had a very joyful heart despite her illnesses. She was very high spirited and definitely a strong woman. She was also very loyal. Her life was dedicated to her family, especially her husband and daughter. She also loved her animals and took special care of each of them. Delia is preceded in death by her parents, Delia and Rosendo Savedra. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tony Duran; their daughter, Delia Concepcion Duran; mother, Patsy Kay Garcia and husband, Alfonso; grandfather, Albert (Dad) Chavez; brother, Alfonso Garcia Jr.; uncle and aunt, Albert and Esther Chavez; nephew, Tito Chavez; the Duran Family; and many other extended family members and friends. Memorial Services for Delia will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Salazar & Sons Mortuary at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at El Evangelico Cemetery.
