Neil H. Odom, age 63, of Santa Fe, NM, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, April 21, 2008, from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Neil was born on January 8, 1945, in Hemphreys County, TN. He served his country with three tours of duty as a combat medic in Vietnam. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife Terry; daughters: Erin, Shawna, Angela; son, Neil; brother-in-law, Clifford Wright; nephew, Gavin Wright; sister, Doris Bade; brothers: Charles, Don, Michael, and Roger Odom. A Graveside Service will be conducted Friday, April 25, 2008, 11:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors.
