Virginia Lee Copenhaver, 78, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008, after a long illness. Born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, she was a resident of Albuquerque for 33 years. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arnold E. Copenhaver, in 1974; daughters, Melanie Douglas and Debra Jean Copenhaver. Virginia is survived by two sisters, Laureli Waddell of Tybee Island, Georgia and Jane Colo of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; three children, Tyfanie A. Stafford, Arnold E. Copenhaver Jr., and Malcolm Grey Douglas, all of Albuquerque; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
