Matthew Lee McAlister was born on September 30, 1976. He is survived by his son, Cyrus McAlister; Cyrus' mother, Chastity DeSimone; mother, Marilyn Hallett; father, Rick McAlister; three sisters, DeAubrey Johnson, Nicole Schall, and Stacie Peeks; two brothers, Rick McAlister, Jr., and Joshua Settles; seven nephews; three nieces; and grandparents Jeanie and Tom Wolfe, and Mary and Jay Lytle; and many family and friends who loved him. Services will take place on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel. A public visitation will take place one hour prior to services.
