Pleas M. Cook, "Pop", passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, after a brief illness at the age of 84. "Pop" is survived by his loving wife, Lilian; his best friend and twin brother, Pearl Cook and wife, Jo; three sons, Martian and wife, Rusty, Richard and wife, Cindy, and Don and wife, Liz; grandsons, Chris, Ken, and Donnie; granddaughters, Shirley, Chevonne, Therese, Heidi, and Jaimee; and great-grandchildren, Jaricah, Kieran, Brendon, Breanne, Brylen, Tamyra, and Chastin. Mr. Cook is preceded in death by his loving grandson, Chad Cook. Pop touched many, many lives with his gentleness, kindness and generosity. He will be extremely missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at St. Chad's Episcopal Church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008, with Father Brian Winters officiating.
