Obituary for PASCETTI

Melio Pascetti, age 95, peacefully went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2008, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born to Giacinto and Angelina Pascetti, the son of Italian immigrants, and he grew up in Dawson, NM. Melio later moved to Albuquerque, NM and married his childhood sweetheart, Josephine Ann Cimino. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII, where he fought at Normandy during D-Day. Melio will be remembered for his amazing determination, optimism, and deep sense of commitment to his wife and family. He is survived by his loving wife, Josephine; their children, son, George Pascetti and wife, Susan, of Durango, CO; daughter, Angela Scarberry and husband, Ted, of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Damian Pascetti, Ted Scarberry and his wife, Amanda, and Tim Scarberry; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Joshua, and Gio Pascetti; three brothers, Angelo, Valentino, and Jack Pascetti; and one sister, Carmen Lozano. Melio is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Pascetti; and his two brothers, Tom and John Pascetti. The Most Holy Rosary will be recited on Friday, April 11, 2008, 2:00 p.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoluem Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, April 11, 2008, 2:30 p.m., with Father Mike Cimino as the Celebrant. Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
