Obituary for KOEHLER

William R. "Bill" Koehler, 72, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008. He is survived by his mother, Catherine Koehler of Amarillo, TX; daughters, Kim Koehler-Lynch of California, Kelley Koehler of Santa Fe, and Kay Koehler of Oregon; their mother, Camille Koehler, of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; step-daughters, Dawn Nava and husband, Ken, of Rio Rancho, Laura Haynes, and Colleen Lawrence, both of Albuquerque; their mother, Ingrid Koehler, of Florida; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Mary Schooler, Louise Conley, and Joan Graham; and brother, John Michael Koehler, all of Amarillo, TX. Mr. Koehler was preceded in death by his father, Raymond E. Koehler; and brother, Jim Koehler. He was born and raised in Dalhart, TX, the eldest of six children. Mr. Koehler served his country during the Korean era in the United States Army in Ethiopia. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University with Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in finance. Mr. Koehler was a Professor at the College of Santa Fe and at Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Rosary will be recited Sunday, April 6, 2008, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 7, 2008, 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho.
