Lenna Maye, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, and formerly of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2008 at the age of 82. She was born to Denny O. Tipton and Iva Geraldine Graves Tipton (Pottorf) on June 6, 1925. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Carl A. Denney; and her sons, Craig and Kevin Denney. She is survived by her son, Douglas P. Denney and his wife, Mary. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Claudia M. Powell, her husband Jay and their children, Jordan, Taylor, and Kamaria Powell. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and special friends. Lenna May was a devoted and caring woman who withstood many personal hardships with dignity and perseverance. Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Lenna and Carl's life will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at her home.
