Melita J. Sedillo Hasson passed away on March 24, 2008. She was born in Magdalena, NM to C.B. Sedillo Sr. and Refugio Landovazo Sedillo. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. "Bill" Hasson. She is survived by her son, Jaime Chacon wife ,Lolita; and daughter, Yvonne Pitts husband, Bill. Grandchildren, Jolene Chacon Montoya, Jimmy Chacon, Michelle Cracraft, and Robin Pitts. Great-grandchildren, Jeremy Peralta, Monique Sisneros, Alexis Akers, and Shane Akers. Great-great- grandchildren, Isac Peralta and Dominic Peralta; and her brother, Anthony "Tony" Sedillo. Also, her loving nephews; sister-in-law; cousins; and friends. Melita lived most of her life in New Mexico. She and her husband, Bill, moved to California to be near their children about 10 years ago, were they resided until their passing. Melita lived a good long life. She and her husband traveled all over the world when they retired. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a Gravesite Service will be held at a later date.
