Georgia (Lisa) Atencio passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008 in Albuquerque at the age of 44. She was born December 23, 1963. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Carter; sister, Yvonne Carter; brothers, Clifford Carter, Armando Carter and Paul Carter. Lisa is survived by her sons, Laurence Atencio, and Adrian Atencio and wife, Briana; granddaughter, Adriana; daughter, Desiree Atencio; significant other, Larry Black; father, Vincent Carter; siblings, Ramona Anaya and husband, Faustin, Pearl Serrano, Geniva Carter, Juanita Gutierrez and husband, Anthony; brother, James Carter and wife, Anita; several nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives. Funeral Services for Lisa will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at St. Therese Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
