Obituary for OPPERMAN

Opal Olive Opperman, 87, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 3, 2008. She was born Opal Briggs, in Dixon, MO, December 19, 1920. Her husband, Norman J. Opperman, preceded her in death in 1980. Opal is survived by her children: Gayle Opperman and wife, Sherry, Harold Opperman and wife, Linda, Paul Opperman and wife, Kathy, Brenda Opperman, and Norman Opperman and wife, Joan; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Norman and Opal ministered in former churches including: The Community Church of Stanley, NM; Trinity Bible Church of Los Alamos, NM; and churches in Jamestown, NY and Warren, PA. Opal was a long time member of Highland Assembly of God Church, now known as Tramway Community Church of Albuquerque, NM. Opal was a dear friend to everyone. Her love, laughter, lighthearted spirit, and especially her dedication to Christ will be missed by all. A Viewing will be held Sunday 3-5 p.m. at Reflections.
