SHIRLEY A. (BLOOM) Born October 2, 1921 in Minnesota, raised in Middletown, Ohio, died March 3, 2008 in an Albuquerque nursing home. She and her husband, Lawrence, moved to Silver City, NM about 1946 and subsequently to Albuquerque. A trained artist, animal lover and great raconteur. She and Larry were longtime, involved residents of Old Town. Owners of the Glass House Shop, they were active members of the Old Town Merchants Association. She also belonged to the Zia Roamers RV Travel Group. Shirley Contributed to several animal groups, especially PETA. She is predeceased by her husband, Larry; survived by many cousins and dear friends. She will be sorely missed. Her wish is to be cremated. Family and friends, please contact Gwen D.
