R. Keith McDaniel, 97, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008. He was born May 3, 1910 in Mt. Etna, Indiana, a son of Jesse R. and Jessie M. McDaniel. He was a World War II Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine McDaniel of Albuquerque; two sons and two daughters; Richard and his wife, Joan McDaniel, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; Michael and his wife, Debra McDaniel, Mansfield, OH; Anita McDaniel and husband, Gene Ramsey, Jaroso, CO; Patricia and husband, Steve Brown, Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren; Madeline, Jessica, Bryan, Matthew, Gabrielle and Kristen; five great-grandchildren; Alex, Katy, Elizabeth, Bryan, and Megan. He was preceded in death by his first wife; Maria D. McDaniel; one brother; Paul McDaniel. A Memorial Mass for Keith's soul will be celebrated Friday, March 7, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW. Interment will take place at a later date in Marion, Indiana.
