Thomas "Milton" Peak, 81, a life-long resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 1, 2008 after a brave struggle with cancer. He was such a loving father, grandfather, good neighbor and friend who was always ready to share his warm smile and uplifting spirit. Milton had a passion for "big band swing" music and loved to dance. He loved the Lord and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed working out at the gym, fishing, gardening and reading. He was born in Albuquerque on October 14, 1926. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velnor Eden Peak in 1990 and in 2006 by his last wife, Sarah Albert. He is survived by his daughters, Sheryl Peak and Deborah Glassmaker; son, Steven Peak; grandkids, Scott Boberschmidt, Jack Boberschmidt, Shannon Peak; sister, Norma Kay of Montgomery, AL; and grand-dog, Sabbath. Extended family also includes Diane and Sam LaBar and their families in Round Rock, TX. Milton served his country in the marines during WWII. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria Rd. NE.
