Major Ashley J. Gold, USAF Retired, 85, of Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2008. A B-17 navigator with the 8th Air Force during World War II, he was a graduate of Tulane Law School, a member of the Law Review and a prominent business owner in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a long time resident of Parkway Village. He is survived by a son, Jonathan Gold; daughter, Lorna Marchand; grandchildren, Thomas Marchand and Rachel Marchand; sister, Dorothy Kaplan (Harold); and special friend, Carolyn Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jo Mahan Gold. Services will be held at a later date.
