Bertha Zaragoza was born February 28, 1926 in Cuba, New Mexico. She passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the age of 82. Bertha was preceded in death by her son, Randy Zaragoza; her sister, Raphela Alires and her mother, Isadora Salazar. She is survived by her sons, Art and wife, Elizabeth, Eric and wife, Debbie and Rudy Michael; daughter, Nancy Artiaga and husband, Rick; nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Virginia Sanchez and Covie Gurule; many nieces, nephews other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Artisco SW. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at Paseo del Norte and Wyoming NE.
