John William Werblow, 83, of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Josie Godfrey and husband, Dan; two sons, Will Werblow and Keith Werblow and wife, Julie all of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Leslie, Emily, and Alden; and two sisters, Glendora Werblow and Verna Lampman both of Cleveland, OH. John was retired from the US Navy after serving 22 years. While in the Navy, John was considered to be one of the top navigators of his time. He was an avid Lobo fan, enjoying basketball the most. He also enjoyed coin collecting and working crossword puzzles, keeping his mind exceptionally sharp to the end of his life. The family suggests memorial donations be made to The American Lung Association, 7001 Menaul Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87110. At this time, no services are scheduled.
