Obituary for NILES

Page M. Niles, of Albuquerque, age 90 years, died on February 20, 2008 at Haven Care, after a short illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Colonel Ellery W. Niles, U.S. Army, retired. Page attended Wheaton College in Massachusetts, later completing her degree at the University of New Mexico, and was an avid reader, enthusiastic traveler, and talented artist. She was a loving mother to David Niles and his wife, Sophie, of Landenburg, PA., Judith Maxon and her husband, Ronald, of Bedford, MA., Mary Sebring and her husband, James, of Albuquerque, NM, Thomas Niles of Albuquerque, NM, and Barbara Niles of Fairbanks, AK. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; David Maxon, Jennifer Kennelly, Laura Stewart, Page van der Linden, and Thomas Sebring; as well as five great-grandchildren. A private Family Graveside Ceremony will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. The family wishes to offer heartfelt thanks to the loving and sensitive support provided by the Ambercare hospice staff, and very special thanks to the outstanding care offered by Haven Care, and especially the extraordinary, loving caregivers at Birch House.
