Joan M. Gonzales, 71, a resident of New Mexico for the past 45 years, died peacefully in her home with her family by her side. Joan was born December 21, 1936, the daughter of Roy and Bertha Duran Archuleta in Monte Vista, Colorado. Joan was preceded in death by her husband; Moe Gonzales in 1992; and her grandson, Adam Buzis-Sanchez, in 2006. A special thank you to her loving sister, Elizabeth, who took wonderful care of Joan. A Rosary will be recited for Joan on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd., NW, Albuquerque.
