Lorenzo P. Olascoaga, 79, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 after a brief illness. Mr. Olascoaga is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Jauregui Olascoaga, six children, Diana O. Tellez and husband, Avelino, Mary Ann Olascoaga, Robert J. Olascoaga, Cindy O. Dickens, Eva Michelle Olascoaga, Rachel R. Olascoaga and life partner, Donell Duran; nine grandchildren, Adrian, Andrew, Adam, Lorenzo, Jacob, Alicea, Lukas, Kaylyana and Albany; one great-granddaughter, Mia; sister, Terri Olascoaga, and many other relatives and friends. Lorenzo was preceded in death by his parents, Fermin and Felipa. He retired from Holloman AFB after many years with the Civil Service. Memorial Rosary will be recited Sunday, February 24, 2008, 7:00 p.m., at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in Tularosa, NM. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 25, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church.
