Thelma G. (Lester) Jennings passed away peacefully on February 12, 2008, at the age of 89. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Thelma and Walter were both born and raised in New York State, but left in 1952 and took up permanent residence in Albuquerque. After retirement she and Walter took up RV-ing and wintered in Arizona for many years. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Hurt (Tom) of Fredericksburg, TX; Cheri Hobbs (Al) of El Paso, TX; Sandra Giannini (Tom) of Albuquerque; sons, Kim Jennings (Susan) of Rio Rancho; and Tad Jennings Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. There will be no services. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. The family wants to thank the nurses and attendants at Laurel Heights Healthcare at 103 Hospital Loop NE, Albuquerque, for their help and loving care given to Thelma.
