Obituary for DULLEA

Dolores Jean Dullea passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008. She waged a valiant battle to be self-sufficient and independent after suffering multiple physical handicaps and was an inspiration to all who knew her and loved her. Jean was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois by her parents Walter and Irene Scheffler. She married and raised six children before moving to Albuquerque in 1984, where she became a successful real estate broker. She was preceded in death by her son James Dullea. Survivors are her daughter Lori Greissinger, her husband Gary, grandsons Kurt (Christine) and Erik (Jodi), great grandchildren Trevor, Tacy, Alison, Evan and Caden of Mundelein, Illinois; son John Dullea, his wife Sherri, granddaughters Nicole and Jessica and great grandson Gabe of Huntsville, Alabama; her daughter, Christine Pfeifer, grandchildren Glen (Cindy), Annamarie and Alex of Bloomingdale, Illinois; her daughter, Lisa Elliott and her husband Michael, granddaughters Jennifer and Melissa of Albuquerque, her son, Kevin Dullea and canine companion, Ruby, of Albuquerque, and her faithful feline companion Geronimo. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2008, with the service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
